GirlieQ: How many bottles of nail color do you have?

- do you call it paint, polish, enamel, or lacquer?

- what is your favorite nail color for toes or fingers?

- I do not want to clean the house :(

- counting base and top coat as colors is kinda like measuring from the taint, scientifically speaking

thank you all. no, really.GirlieQ: How many bottles of nail color do you have?
I only have 4. Two are red, one is purple, and one is kinda pearly.

Red is my flavorite.

Neither do I.

Scientifically, you are correct. Spiritually speaking, it's debatable.GirlieQ: How many bottles of nail color do you have?

*I don't want to either. I wish there were more Mexican children looking for jobs around here. I'd pay one 10 bucks to come clean mine.

*I don't use a base coat, but I just call my top coat ';clear';.
I have five bottles.

I call it a cheap high.

I like Nicotine Yellow for fingers and Fungus Gray for piggies.

You're a woman, it's your job to clean the house.

Measuring from the taint is just icing on the cake, in my case.

2. RED...I have tons of shades of red... a few dark purple-ish berry colors (OPI and Revlon colors) (like, 20 bottles)

3. Me neither

4. Base and top coat don't count as colors. They're clear.
I have about 25 bottles of nail polish. I like painting my fingers or toes either black, navy or dark purple. I don't want to clean my house either, but the thing is-i don't have to! I don't care about science.
I have 5 bottles.

I call it polish, sometimes to myself I think of it as lacquer, haha, I like the way it sounds.

I usually only paint my nails shades of pink, red or purple.

You'll feel better after you do it...

I don't do base coat or topcoat.

Red for both, but i also sometimes like a really different colour, depends on my mood.

I am not sure, sorry

For the title question, I have 15 bottles of nail polish
I'm not allowed to wear nail polish for school, but I will probably paint my nails this summer so that I can more effectively scratch them down someones back....or at least more prettily scratch them down someones back.
None, don't use it. Can you believe I've never in my entire life used polish? Oh, I take that back, when I was a kid I think I had that tinted clear type on a couple of times.

What color nail polish best represents the people of Japan?

Please give serious answers. This is for a project. What color nail polish best represents the people of Japan?
red seems popular but red would represent the country not the people.

i would choose blue to represent the people.

Blue is the color of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligenceWhat color nail polish best represents the people of Japan?
Green. As in Jade,bamboo,green tea,seaweed.
i would go with any shade of pink.

I base this on the fact that many Japanese women love feminine colors and the fact that the Cherry blossom is pink.

I asked my son's Japanese teacher and she also mentioned that was a good choice because of the Hello Kitty fascination also.

good luck with your research.
I think a vibrant scarlett red color. What a lovely color to represent such a colorful and beautiful culture!
a really bright red or orange, but more red

Bright red.

I teach at a university for women in southern Japan. Most of my students wear sort of a neutral base, and then paint all sorts of designs on them. And not just paint, they actually are 3D, sticking out from the surface of the nails, in some extreme cases, I have observed up to 2mm off the surface of the nail. Designs like rainbows, stars, different stripes and/or zigzags, etc. Not one color anymore, look at their designs.

  • What is an appropriate nail polish color to wear to work?

Besides well groomed french tips or plain nails? Are all colors besides really pale ones not professional looking enough? What is an appropriate nail polish color to wear to work?
Anything flesh colored or a pale pink that isn't baby pink. The idea is to look groomed, but not have the color be all that noticeable. Here are some good examples of my go-to colors:

';Just Tea-sing'; from OPI's ';Garden Party'; line: http://www.opi.com/GardenParty.asp

';Fiji Weejee Fawn'; by OPI: http://www.opi.com/Classics/Classics.asp鈥?/a>

i think any colors look good if you keep them up and don't let them get all chipped and gross.
It kind of depends what your work is, if its in a office or something i think light pink, cream, white tips.. but if your a shop keeper or hairdresser ect, any colour would be nice.
red, light pale pink(';ballerina'; pink), light pastels
all light colors dark color look to dark
soft pinks, buffs, and other assorted muted colors are nice. even pearly type colors are nice. in my office you can wear bright colors, like my co worker always has red, but she always keeps them well done. the minute they chip she does them over. darker colors just look tacky when you let them chip. lighter colors hide chips very easily.

a hot pink, magenta, fuschia, something along those lines
You should go for Baby pink, golden will also do well. But the best one would be baby pink.
One of my friends is a darker skin tone and she wears hot pink nails and it looks gorgeous! Try it out
a cherry pinkish red would be gorgeous!
    baby pink
i think bold hot pink or like coral pink colors are cute on dark skinned
actually, i think dark colors would look good...I would say dark metallic blue!
    light pink or peach

What color nail polish would match my dress?

ok, so i am wearing a grayish silverish dress with spalkles, and the heels are silver. should i just get fake nails? like fake french tip nails? or should i do them in red, or hot pink??.... french tips wont work on to do them on my real nails because they are really short right now ad i have no time to let them grow! so help me please!! thanksWhat color nail polish would match my dress?
If you get fake nails with french manicure you could ask them to put a thin silver glittery line right under the white french manicure. I used to do that a lot. I would go with red though. Maybe pink. But i say go with french manicure. What color nail polish would match my dress?
just get french tips. keep it simple.
How about not painting your nails at all?
French tips, no color on the nails.
