What is an appropriate nail polish color to wear to work?

Besides well groomed french tips or plain nails? Are all colors besides really pale ones not professional looking enough? What is an appropriate nail polish color to wear to work?
Anything flesh colored or a pale pink that isn't baby pink. The idea is to look groomed, but not have the color be all that noticeable. Here are some good examples of my go-to colors:

';Just Tea-sing'; from OPI's ';Garden Party'; line: http://www.opi.com/GardenParty.asp

';Fiji Weejee Fawn'; by OPI: http://www.opi.com/Classics/Classics.asp鈥?/a>

i think any colors look good if you keep them up and don't let them get all chipped and gross.
It kind of depends what your work is, if its in a office or something i think light pink, cream, white tips.. but if your a shop keeper or hairdresser ect, any colour would be nice.
red, light pale pink(';ballerina'; pink), light pastels
all light colors dark color look to dark
soft pinks, buffs, and other assorted muted colors are nice. even pearly type colors are nice. in my office you can wear bright colors, like my co worker always has red, but she always keeps them well done. the minute they chip she does them over. darker colors just look tacky when you let them chip. lighter colors hide chips very easily.
