do the french nails, but for the base coat, use a really thick nail polish so the bruise won't show. otherwise, pink, or dark red would be good...but don't paint them brown or green or anything like that...it looks tacky!
just a suggestion, get rid of the brown shrug. you'll look like a tree. who cares about a slight bruise under your fingernail? youre not victoria beckham, i doubt people will be analyzing you to THAT extent.
