What color nail polish should I wear with a gold evening gown?

I am 25 years old and am going to a holiday party in December.What color nail polish should I wear with a gold evening gown?

The safe bet would be to go with a french manicure, BUT a fun way to show some of your personality is to find a necklace/bracelet pairing that has gold and some mono color jewel theme. Like a gold necklace with turquoise beading, just for example, and paint your nails a lighter similar version of the beads. This would also allow you to wear a different color shoe.





Red shoes, light sheer red shade of nails, and Ruby %26amp; Gold jewelry would be an example of how you can fun up the look. You're young, you could definitely pull off the fun accent colors like reds, blues, or greens





White would be the more classic accent color with gold, but I'd advice you stay away from black nails as it might look too gothic, unless that's the style you're going for, in which case, rock it!
dark polish is really trendy right now and would look good


not black, but OPI's deep reds and deep purples are great for being trendy but not goth





or just a very light nude color/pink...something that would blend and not be noticeable

I would get a French Manicure.


It would look very elegant and pretty with a gold gown, but if you don't want a manicure then I would go with hot pink!

A deep red, burgundy or berry with lots of shimmer will look beautiful. I love OPI for Sephora in Because I Said So... but you can find similar shades by any brand, I'm sure.
