I have acrylic nails and I was just wondering what colors are appropriate and inappropriate to wear to work. I am 19 and I work with a bunch of ppl my age, and my manager is really cool, so I was wondering what color choices do I have. Thanks!!What is an appropriate nail color to wear to work in the retail business?
At work, you don't want to call extra attention to your nails, but you do want them to look perfectly manicured. The main thing is they should be no more than medium length, perfectly clean at all times, and with smooth cuticles. In your cosmetic kit you can carry a tiny nail brush and a small bottle of hand lotion. I think colors in the pink and coral range would be most appropriate. Reds, lilacs, and whites are close to the edge, and blacks, greens, blues, and metallics would be too wild. What is an appropriate nail color to wear to work in the retail business?
Stay away from bright reds, hot pinks, dark purples, blues and black. Even though you are young and your manager is cool, you still should appear professional. Clear or light pink with white tips, a creamy light pink to off white color, or muted colors like lavender.
probably any colors in retail. if it is more of a professional , older more elegant environment i would probably go with professional pinks, reds, maroons, that are pretty but toned down for maturity. french nails are always good too!
If I were you, I would stick with a classic french manicure. It doesn't go out of style and it goes with everything! French manicure is very classy, you can't go wrong! If you want to dress up your hands, a bracelet or rings are the way to go.
I'd say earthy colours like brown, maybe a pearl white or a pink but not too bright, stay away from black, bright reds and other out there colours good luck.
not green, black gray, and very RED are good
