What color nail polish should I wear with a shimmery silver dress?

If i wear silver polish,would I be over doing it; would black polish be inappropriate for a wedding. I will most likely wear a smokey gray eyeshadow or maybe charcoal with neutral blush and lip gloss. What do you think...???What color nail polish should I wear with a shimmery silver dress?
I think a deep red color would be perfect. Some of my favorites come from Essie, a brand that most manicure places (and even some drug stores) carry. A rich blood red would be a great way to get a dark %26amp; sultry effect without the shock factor of black polish, if you're concerned about that for the wedding.

Get your nails done french style instead and leave them neutral with the white tip. I don't think black nails are nice anyway, so I don't think they are good for a wedding. Silver is good with anything other than silver. You could go with something bold but I think you should just get them done with french tips.
maybe black with black bag etc, jst remember if your going blood red kind of colour you need to think of accesories and black will go with any, and make it look like you've matched up on purpose, wheras if u only have red nails and then a diff colour bag etc it will look random?
If you would like to make a statement, then red.


If you would like to go casual because you have a statement dress already, then go clear, or a french manicure.

Wear either a clear polish or a opalescent type where you get the faintest hint of your natural nail colour coming through.





Bold colours will look trashy, simple elegance beats trailer trash any day.

i think black is fine....everywhere i see black nail polish, but i would go for something bold like maroon or royal blue just the add color
Go for dark colors since you're already wearing a striking dress. Dark purple or a classic shade of red are subtle enough, they help emphasize your dress!
Blood red.With all the silver you need a splash of color somewhere to enhance the effect.
Dark blue or black, it wouldn't be inappropriate.
You could do a very pale pink- almost nude colour, and it'd look really classy and clean. Otherwise, I'd think black would look great.
are you trying to look prettier than the bride, tone it down.
I'd do a dark shimmery navy blue.
